Christine Hayes writes middle grade fiction with a spooky or unusual twist. Her debut novel follows two siblings who face a deadly choice after a chance encounter with the infamous Mothman. THE MOTHMAN’S CURSE swoops in for a spring 2015 invasion through Roaring Brook Press/Macmillan.
It’s no coincidence that the characters in MOTHMAN have an auctioneer for a father. Christine is obsessed with cool old stuff, from fine antiques to rusty, roadside junk. She runs a small business selling vintage decor, and has the cluttered garage to prove it. She also dabbles in music and photography, and is always game for small-town road trips, overseas adventures, and any type of travel in between.
Christine lives in Utah with her sweetheart, three swell kids, and one certifiable Wheaten Terrier named Chewie. Follow her on Twitter.
