Penny Parker Klostermann writes picture books and poetry for children. Her debut picture book, THERE WAS AN OLD DRAGON WHO SWALLOWED A KNIGHT, was published August 4, 2015 by Random House Books for Young Readers. It’s a rollicking tale about a dragon who just can’t keep his mouth closed . . . at least not until he eats almost everything in the Kingdom! It’s not polite!
Penny’s second book, A COOKED-UP FAIRY TALE, will also be published by Random House Books for Young Readers (2017).
Penny thoroughly enjoys writing for kids because she thoroughly enjoyed being a kid. You can learn more about her kid-self over at her ~a penny and her jots~ where she blogs about picture books and poetry.
You can follow Penny on on her blog, on Twitter, on Facebook, and on Pinterest. She is represented by Tricia Lawrence.
Penny has been known to hug her favorite picture books and seriously hopes that someday her books will gain huggable status too.
