Jeannie Mobley writes historical fiction for middle grade readers. She was born and raised in Colorado, and spent many hours as a child exploring the West in an old green truck and camper, and in her overly active imagination. Her novels, KATERINA’S WISH, (Margaret K. McElderry Books, Fall 2012) and SEARCHING FOR SILVERHEELS (MKM Books, Fall 2014) follows in that tradition.
Jeannie lives in Longmont, Colorado, and teaches anthropology when she is not writing. To learn more about Jeannie and her work, please visit her at her Website.
Congratulations, Jeannie! I am so excited and happy for you! It couldn’t happen to a more deserving, more talented writer. I look forward to seeing your book in stores. Best of luck! Maryanne
